Woven by the Lori tribes of southwestern Iran, this runner is a textbook study in abrash—those natural tonal shifts that occur when different dye lots are used. As you move from one end to the other, shades of crimson red, burnt‑orange, and terra‑cotta mingle with subtle streaks of charcoal and dusty rose, creating a rustic striation that breathes life into the design.

The motifs themselves are delightfully minimal: tiny diamonds and stylized shrubs floating in open space, a hallmark of the Lori aesthetic.

Because of its narrower width, it’s a brilliant choice for that in‑between zone—an entry hall, a mudroom, or even along the side of a bed. The vegetable‑dyed wool has a soft, almost silky hand, while the abrash ensures no two sections are exactly the same. It’s an artful conversation starter for lovers of authentic tribal weaving.
