What bulbs does it take, and are they included?
Three E26 bulbs, not included. Max 15W LED per shade, but don't let that number fool you. A 15W LED produces the same light as roughly a 100W incandescent bulb, so with three shades you're getting the equivalent of around 300W of traditional light over your table. More than enough for a dining space. For a warm, relaxed feel go for 2700K bulbs. For something brighter and more kitchen-functional, 3000K works well.
How does the adjustable cable actually work?
Each of the three lights hangs from its own cable that feeds through the central canopy. You set the height of each shade individually during install by adjusting how much cable you pull through. Once set, they lock in place. No tools needed after the initial install. You can reposition them any time.
My ceiling box isn't centered over my table. Will this work?
Yes, that's exactly what this fixture is designed for. Because each shade hangs on an independent cable from a single mount, you can angle and position them to cover your table evenly regardless of where the ceiling box sits. It's one of the main reasons people choose this over three separate pendants.
How wide does it spread and how low does it hang?

How high should I hang the shades above the table?
Around 28 to 34 inches from the tabletop to the bottom of the shade is the standard for dining. Lower gives a more intimate, focused feel. Higher spreads the light more broadly. Because each cable adjusts independently you can also stagger the heights if you prefer a more layered look.
Is it dimmable?
Yes, with an external dimmer switch or dimmable LED bulbs. There's no built-in dimmer, which gives you flexibility to use whatever smart bulb or switch system you already have.
Is it approved for Canadian electrical code?
Yes. cUL listed for both Canada and the US, so it passes inspection and won't cause issues with insurance or a home sale.
Do I need an electrician?

Will the jute shade colours fade or change over time?
Natural jute does mellow slightly with exposure to light over time, which most people find adds to the character rather than detracting from it. Keep it out of direct sunlight if you want to preserve the original tone longer. The texture and weave stay intact.
What if it doesn't work in the space?
30-day returns on uninstalled fixtures. If the size, style, or finish isn't what you expected, send it back within 30 days of delivery in its original packaging, uninstalled and unmodified. Once a fixture has been installed, it's no longer eligible for return.
